return & shipping policy

our current processing time is 1 business day with delivery within the US from 3-8 business days and delivery to Canada from 3-20 business days depending on shipping preference. please note that orders may experience shipping delays that are beyond our control but we do our best to anticipate when these delays may occur. 

we do not accept returns or administer refunds on our products for any reason other than that we have made a mistake in the fulfillment of your order or that it was damaged in shipment. however, if there is an issue please contact us right away as we would love to be able to help make things right!

if your item was damaged in shipment please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date with pictures of the damaged product as well as the box it came in. the time elapsed is important as this is how long we have to file a claim with the carrier. 

if your item was marked delivered but you have not received it please contact your shipping carrier as soon as possible to resolve the issue. we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have left Scent and Spill Studios.

please note that we are not at fault for any defects caused by improper candle care on your behalf. please read all labels on packaging for how to best care for your candle before use. you may also refer to our candle care section for more information.
